To support SDGs, the International Student Conference (IGSCPS) is being held again this year

The IGSCPS Participants Watched the Presentation of Materials from the Speakers with Enthusiasm

International student conference activities which are routinely held by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) are being held again this year. The conference was named "International Graduate Students Conference on Pharmaceutical Science (IGSCPS)" 2023 which was held on 5 August 2023 yesterday.

In accordance with the theme "Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science Contributions to Sustainable Development Goals, Good Health, and Well-being", this activity aims to support SDGs for the benefit of the people in the health sector.

The activity which was held at the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building was attended by hundreds of participants from various countries. Not only that, this conference also presented many speakers, both from within and outside the world, to share their knowledge in the pharmaceutical field.

The Keynote Speaker of this activity is Prof. Swati Nagar, Ph.D. from Temple University, USA and Prof. Fernando Fernandez-Llimos, Ph.D. from the University of Porto, Portugal. Also present were six Symposium Speakers from various well-known campuses. The six people are Prof. Ahmed S. Attia, Ph.D. (Cairo University, Egypt), Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, PharmD (Mahidol University, Thailand), Prof. Takayasu Yamauchi, PhD (Hoshi University, Japan), Mohd. Shahezwan Abd. Wahab, PhD (MARA University of Technology, Malaysia), Prof. Dr. Aty Widyawaruyanti (Airlangga University, Indonesia), and Prof. Dr. Budi Suprapti (Airlangga University, Indonesia).

In addition, because this conference is a student conference, of course, ten Student Speakers from several well-known campuses in Malaysia, Brunei, the Philippines, and Indonesia were also invited.

Through this activity participants can gain a lot of knowledge even across countries that can support their role as health workers. In addition, they also had the opportunity to become oral presenters at this activity.
